Excavator EMVs are specifically designed as pile driving accessories for excavators. They have a high power/weight ratio due to their high operating frequency and an added advantage is the ability to apply an additional vertical force from the excavator if needed to assist driving.

The EMVs can be attached to the excavator in two ways either via a bracket directly to the dipper arm and plumbed into the excavator’s hydraulic system, or with a Quick Hitch Adaptor.
